Are you looking for answers to your health issues but don’t know how to sort through all the information and noise to find what will really work for you? My name is Patty Minta and I have been passionate about wellness and nutrition since I was a teenager, which took me on the journey to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. However, the credentials RDN could really mean Realistic Dietitian Nutritionist when they are placed after my name. The traditional nutrition guidelines are not necessarily the healthiest guidelines for everyone.
Nutrition and wellness is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Each of us is fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image, but each of us has a unique genetic make-up and body chemistry. So what works for your friend, co-worker, or even sibling may not work for you. So with that said, don’t be discouraged. There are basic principles that each of us can follow to find the best nutrition and wellness plan for our own needs.
Wellness is about nutrition, for sure, but it is also about our surroundings: where we live, where we work, where we worship. It is also about growing in our faith so that we live with a full acknowledgement of the blessings we receive from God, and the joy we receive in blessing others.
